환영합니다!

Korean Comics is an experimental webcomic I made to practice writing Korean. You may view all 24 episodes in either their original Korean form, or with english subtitles and annotations.

Select ENGLISH or 한국어 here or above to view the comic in your preferred language.

If you are currently learning one of the two languages, you may use the VOCABULARY (어휘) section to view some translations of the words used in each episode.

I hope you will find this comic both entertaining and educational!

Thank yous:

- Wanny for his support, corrections and encouragement to go along with the project.
- Sora for her corrections and suggestions.
- Angela for convincing me that the project was worthwhile, even if Korean-Canadians would thing I'm lame.
- All the fans that followed the issues week-by-week, I wouldn't have concluded the story without you.

감사합니다!

- 에릭

  3. Great comic! I liked the reference to Québec (which where I live) but there is just one thing that is not quite right. The person said "Connard" which not an expression we use. We will most likely use it to imitate Parisians. We use to use our slang, it would sound more like "maudit épais!" (that is a nice way to say it, we would most likely use a swear word instead of "maudit")

  4. I love the comic, just discovered on the day I finally learned the informal 야 conjugation you use a lot!
Just a few points about the vocabulary list:
호프 - Not Hop but Hof, which is obviously not Konglish but German and probably alludes to the world famous Munich beer pub Hofbräuhaus.
뽀뽀 - more a peck than a Kiss (키스)
    자 먹겠습니다 - should be 잘 먹겠습니다
파이팅 - Comes from Fighting, but is an encouragement

  7. 안녕? 나는 한국에 살고 있는 만화작가 입니다. 우연히 이 블러그를 보게 되었어요.
2011년에 이 블러그를 만들고, 이제는 활동하지 않나요? 소년은 캐나다 퀘백에 살고 있어요?
한국어로 만화를 그린 것이 정말 인상 깊어요. 당신은 용감하군요.
당신이 가끔씩 이 취미를 유지하면 좋겠어요. 즐겁게 잘봤습니다. :)
